Let's Talk Benefit's Box Blushes

In particular Hervana a play on Nirvana. A "Good Karma" face powder. 

It's $28.00 and is 8.0g A great size for a blush. Since it's release in early 2011 this has been a favorite of many people. Here's why: 

The Special part of this blush are the colors. It's a universally flattering blush. The colors are shell/peach/rose/berry. Gives a great sheen without being shimmery.   

Great for all seasons. Highly incomparable. You almost really can't over due it either. 

I have Med Skin and on my skin is shows as a natural flush. On a fair person I feel it will look like blushing from within. 

The scent is to me smells like roses. However if you are sensitive to scents this may not be the purchase for you. My sister who is sensitive to fragrant will pass on this product. I am however in love with the scented blush. As a bonus the product has changed their packaging with the lid attached, mirror and trusty brush that is angled. All together this blush is a favorite of mine.  

Sephora Haul

Hey Everyone, I am going to share with you my purchases from Sephora over labor day weekend sales. In my opinion Labor Day is the best time to shop for fall items. Summer items go on major sales and trick is to use shopathome.com kinda like ebates.com you shop through them and you get a % of your money back. Genius! Sweet huh!?!

Ok onto the haul. 

First I am so sad to see that Sephora is no longer going to produce Sephora by OPI :( 

They are turning into X I believe. So they were having major sales on this brand of nail polish. I got a very fall set Spice Market Org $19.99 Sale $12.00 4 Mini but one is a Dupe for Chanel Peridot (released Fall 2011) the rest are so amazing for fall. I got a larger size of the jewel top coast in To the Glitter End $4.50. It's a grey chunky glitter. Can not pass for silver in anyway.....womp womp. I was looking for a chunky silver glitter. Foiled again lol!!

The Sugar Fresh Lip Treatment was a deluxe sample that I had a promo code for. I got it as a birthday gift last year and loved it. Smells of citrus and has spf 15. DO NOT leave in a place that has warmth. It will melt on you lol. I did that and ruined 2 of them. Just a little friendly warning. 

I also picked up the Urban Decay Feminine Palette. At $16.00 who can argue? Not me, shop away lol. This palette is gorg at 6 colors that are so vivid they seem to gleam off the palette. Bordello and ACDC (swatches above) are the stars of this palette to me. the lip junkie in wall Flower is a plumper as well. It doesn't sting which is great and it's a great my lips but better color. Deeper skin tones and Fair alike can wear this palette. A must for any makeup lover.  I also received my birthday gift. Benefit Cosmetics. They're Real Mascara and Watt's Up Highlighter. Amazing products and very generous.  Some samples hourglass veil which I haven't tried. Future post just on this soon. Tocca perfume in Lillianna. Good Grief this is a beautiful scent. Pretty floral not super strong. Full bottle on sale now at Sephora. Thinking about it...hard lol. I also got two presents for my sisters. If you want to see swatches and unboxing here is the video: 

LORAC Mint Edition Collection Swatches & Review

Hey Everyone, I recently got the LORAC Mint Edition Collection and wanted to share with you the swatches, price and reviews!

 So here above is the palette inside. It's so beautiful. First I have been lusting for this palette lucky for me I have patience lol. I waited until it was on sale. On the LORAC website it's priced at $18.00 + Free Shipping. Total its was $19.14 for this beautiful palette. Reg: $36.00 Talk about great timing! Check it out on the sale section of the website. I am making a companion video to this post where you can see the shadows in action. 
The colors don't have names however you can see that the top 3 are matte and lower 3 are shimmery. Blush has shimmer and can almost be used as a highlight. The top 3 need atleast 2 applications as the 1st layer is kind of sheer. The mint should have been a little more powerful since this palette is the M.E. However the bottom row of neutrals are outstanding. Creamy and Shimmery. All are soft. The blush is amazing pink/coral. This is THE Spring palette however the plums/neutrals are perfect for fall looks. Here are swatches of the eye shadows.  

 It comes with a beautiful and stylish silver mesh and mint wristlet. Silver mesh on top of mint fabric. Not a cheap makeup bag but a sturdy wristlet. Accompanying my haul are a couple YSL blushes you see there that I showed in my haul. The kit also came with a vibrant cupcake smelling lipgloss! 

\The lipgloss is in Christian. Vibrant light pink and hot pink swirls! defiantly a savings getting a gloss too.  I think this palette is so universal. It was chosen with what looks to me as a palette for every skin type, which is rare but amazing when you find it. When you order you also get a free sample of Tantalizer gradual self tanner. My interest is peeked lol. More soon on more palettes and a new series called Month of Manicure's. At the end of every month I will put together photo's and nail polishes to make different looks. First Impression using the shadows on my eyes are they are buttery. The top row is just as pigmented as the bottom. The creamy off white matte shade slides on better with a brush than in a swatch. The plum purple is so pigmented you can almost use it as liner as well. The lilac shimmer shade is fantastic. Used in the inner portion of my lid while the plum is on the outer and outer V. Brings a brightness to the corners. This look is effortless as the colors blend well and fast!!!!
